2015 Goals {Update}

Happy July!
Can you believe that as of yesterday, we are halfway through 2015 already?! Craziness.

Being the type A person that I am, I thought it would be a good idea to check in with my 2015 goals I made in January and see how I am doing!

1. Run at least 1,000 miles.

{my little running buddy!}

I'm proud to say I am doing really well with this! As of yesterday, I am up to 526 miles in 2015, so I am a little over halfway there! I've recently started running 6 miles/5 times a week because I have a few pounds to lose before Vegas. Because of this, June has been my top mileage month with 117 miles, while April was my lowest mileage, with just 60 miles (I blame traveling and a broken treadmill this month!).

2. Take at least one family vacation.

Check! We did this back in April when we went to California! (Even though Travis couldn't stay the whole week, I am still counting it because he was there for 4 days!)

I originally said I wanted to go to Paris; however, after the 5 hour plane ride to San Diego with Ella, there is NO way in hell I would get on a plane with her for any longer than that! And I'm not really wanting to leave her for 10+ days at this point. So Paris will have to wait. :)
I would really like to go to the beach together later on this summer though!

3. Go to church at least once a month.

Ok, I have been really sucking at this one. I've been to church ONE TIME this year (Easter) and it wasn't even at my own church! I'm really hoping to improve on this for the second half of this year!

4. Record something about Ella every day.

{I need to be better about using my "fancy cam" more!}

I've been doing a pretty good job at keeping up with my Memory Book for her...sometimes I get a little behind, but I try not to go more than a week without writing in it. It's already fun to look back and see what we did on certain days!

5. Get our house ready to sell.

{stupid dead bushes!!}

We are doing ok on this. We've had a few things come up (dead bushes that had to be ripped out, and now trying to figure out what to plant in their place; broken bed, etc.) but such is the case with homeownership! We have fixed the hole in our dining room ceiling, but that's about it. We've also cleared out our guest bedroom to make some room for a lot of the crap from my classroom. To be honest, I really can only deal with one project at a time, so right now my brain is occupied with these stupid bushes. Once we plant new ones, I'll move onto the next thing on my list!

Looks like I have a lot to do before December 31!!!
