Greetings once again from our germ-infested house! This time it's Ella! Is it spring yet?! I am SO over all of the illnesses!!! Also disclaimer: this post is pretty boring because we had a ridiculously low-key week!
This week, we....
...ate lots of rice cereal...
...celebrated Bennett's half birthday...
...made a cake for said half birthday...
...flew our kites (it was SO windy out Sunday!)...
...visited the library...
...and tried not to push ALL of the buttons in the elevator at Bible study!
Then on Wedneday, sh*t hit the fan and Ella woke up super sick. First she said her tummy hurt. No fever. An hour later, she had a 101.5* fever. And then her throat hurt. And she hurt. I could just tell she was in pain. So I gave her lots of baths...
{yes that's pink water from these!}
...but her fever just kept going up, even with Children's Motrin.
Since we were stuck at home, sweet kids entertained themselves while I prepped for the upcoming consignment sale. I love how Ella feels like crap, but she is still drawing!!!! If she didn't want to draw, I'd probably have taken her to the ER!
If anyone would like to take over and finish tagging my 6 BINS full of clothes, I can pay you in cute baby cuddles and coffee. Any takers?!?
Wednesday night, Ella was getting worse by the hour, so I called our nurse triage line and they got me an appointment the very next morning!
Ella was so pumped that 1. she didn't have to get any shots, and 2. she got TWO Peppa stickers!
The bad news is that she has an ear infection AND strep throat. But now that she's had 4 doses of amoxicillin, she is like a whole new girl and feeling much better!
Bennett was a great help in taking care of his big sister. Lucas, not so much.
Let's hope NO ONE else in my house gets sick!!! I am OVER it!!!!
