Life with Lucas {week 24}

Another fun weeks in the books for my big boy!!

Ella got some Halloween money (who knew that was a thing?!) from all 4 of her grandparents, so we went off to Target to spend it! 

She picked out a Frozen microphone and a Marshall pumpkin making kit. Of course she did.

We also introduced Lucas to Snoopy and watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!"

Friday night, we had tickets to go see the gymnastics show that was in town!

It was a little late (7:30 start time!) but Ella loved it, and I loved getting to see Simone Biles and Aly Raisman up close!!

Lucas wasn't too sure about everything, but he was a trooper!

Saturday morning, we had to make our Marshall pumpkin!

Then we headed to a trick-or-treat event at a nearby shopping center! It was still too hot for our real costumes, so Lucas was a basketball player!

And Ella was Elsa!

She loved trick-or-treating in all of the stores, especially the ones that gave her lollipops.

Oh! And there was a fire truck! I was so mad it was too hot for her dalmatian costume, because how perfect would that have been?!

Later that day, we finished our Marshall pumpkin!

Sunday, it was time for trunk or treat at Ella's preschool! It was still crazy hot, so she got to be Elsa again!

Afterwards, we went to Harris Teeter while Lucas was at home with Daddy. Pretty sure she was living the dream at this moment...car cart, cookie AND wearing her Elsa dress?!?

The rest of our week was spent celebrating Halloween and then recovering from all of that trick-or-treating! Yesterday, we got out to run off some energy at the gymnastics place. Lucas got to forward-face in the Ergo for the first time and he was a big fan!

He also got to play a little bit with his sister and Mackenzie!

Now we are off for a big adventure...I'll tell you all about it next week!
