Life with Ella {week 24}

It's been another busy week!

On Monday, Daddy came home from work with a new shirt for Ella!

Can't wait to put her in it and go to some Hornets games! :)

Tuesday, Travis left for a work trip. Remembering the last time he left me alone with Ella for almost a week, and also because I am crazy and haven't spent enough time in the car recently, I decided to pack up and head to Virginia to visit my parents for a few days.

On our way, we stopped to take a picture of Grandma's billboard! She's famous!

We also made a quick stop at my mom's office to visit everyone. They were so excited to meet Ella, especially since my mom shows them her pictures almost everyday!

When we got to my parents' house, Ella got some presents! A ball...

...and a light up wand that she is obsessed with!

On Wednesday, we took Ella to my parents' friend's farm to see the horses!

She also had llamas, which I thought were the funniest little animals! This guy, Leo, kept coming up to the truck and he LOVED my dad!

If that wasn't enough fun, we also decided to give Ella some more rice cereal to end the day!

She's starting to get the hang of it!

On Thursday, we took Ella to the Richmond Zoo!

I am going to do a separate post on our zoo trip...mostly because I took 101 pictures (don't worry, I won't post them all!).

After the zoo, we went to get gelato...

....and did a little shopping! We found the cutest little boutique called Milby's and they had the most adorable smocked clothes! So of course, Ella got a new outfit from Grandma and Grandpa...isn't that what grandparents are for?!

We also found a toy store, and my mom had a little too much fun playing with the puppets, haha.

And because Richmond has the closest Target to my parents' house, of course we had to stop at good ol' Tarjay! PS-This Target had the best dollar section I've ever seen!!! I got a whole bunch of stuff for my classroom when I go back....in February.

Friday, we came home from Virginia, and Daddy came home from Vegas. As soon as she saw him, Ella got the biggest smile on her face...it just warmed my heart to know how much she loves her dad!

Saturday and Sunday were spent running errands, playing piano...

...snuggling with Daddy...

...and of course, the whole cloth diaper situation! Thanks to those of you who have given me some things to think about, both on here and in real life!!

I plan on posting quite a bit this week because I am so behind! I still need to tell you about Natalie's wedding, Ella's 5 month favorites, and our trip to the zoo!!
See you later, alligators! :)
