Eeeek, I am so late in posting this!
We were at my parents' house for most of last week, so we didn't get to take our weekly picture until this weekend...anyways, here is your weekly recap a few days late!
Backing up to 7/7, the day after my birthday...I walked in to our kitchen to find this:
Yep. Totally annihilated my birthday cupcakes. I left her unattended for like 2 minutes...and she was supposed to be playing in the family room with her toys. Lesson learned: never leave a 2 year old alone with cupcakes on your kitchen island!
Later that day, we had another hemoglobin check for Lucas!
Friday, we went to ImaginOn for story time and Mr. Potato Head...
Afterward, we walked over to Trav's office! Ella loved playing with his coworker's bobbleheads and only broke one...whoops!
Lucas loved being at Daddy's office!
After naps, we hit up the car wash, which is always good for a solid half hour of cheap entertainment.
Saturday morning, I watched baby P for Kathryn!
While I love all 3 of these children, I don't think I will be signing up to have another baby for quite a while...it was a lot!!
Sunday, we went to the pool with our friends!
Lucas stayed home with Trav because it was too hot...but when we got home, I finally managed to capture a smile on my fancy cam (I had been trying for the past 3 days)!!
Later that night, we had friends over and we did Fourth of July round 2, with s'mores and sparklers that we had left over from the actual Fourth!
Monday, it was time for our annual trip to the sunflower field!
It was really hot (like last year!) and Ella, once again, wanted nothing to do with the sunflowers. Oh well. Maybe next year?!
Tuesday, I was crazy enough to bring both kids with me to my dermatologist appointment. I was just there for a skin check, but ended up getting 2 moles removed!
Surprisingly, Ella did great at the derm, and little Mr. Lucas was the fussy one! He is probably just sick of doctor's offices by now...
It was also Cow Appreciation Day, so of course we had to go to Chick Fil A in our cow attire!
Not pictured: Ella covered in ketchup. I am an idiot for dressing her in a white shirt. Anyone have any good stain removal tips?! I've already tried bleach and the stains are still there.
Later on Tuesday, we hit the road for my parents' house. Since Trav had to go out of town for work, I figured the kids and I would leave too since I don't like being home alone when he's gone!
When we got there, my parents had a Paw Patrol placemat waiting for Ella. She is obsessed.
Lucas wasn't so sure about this place...or this ginormous dog in my brother's old room.
The next day, we went to the Richmond Zoo. I took a lot of pictures, so I'll share all of those in a separate post...I know you can't wait! ;)
You guys have been so busy! Lots of fun things here. Carbona makes a stain remover just for ketchup and sauce. It comes in a little yellow container and you can get it at wal-mart and some grocery stores. Maybe even target?
