Life with Lucas {week 12}

This little guy is 12 weeks old today!

Today is another milestone with his hemolytic anemia...the hematologists told us that by 12 weeks, pretty much all of his anemia issues should be cleared up! We go back in less than 2 weeks, so fingers crossed that they were right!

Anyway...we've had a pretty low key week!

There have been trips to Target...

...trying on fall clothes {I ordered this longall for him, and the matching jumper for Ella!}

...running errands with Big Sister, who insists on wearing her sunglasses every time we are in the car, even if it's raining....

...spitting up everywhere just in time for his bath (good timing, I guess!)...

...and picking out Ella's lunchbox for preschool (she got this one)!

But what we've spent most of our time doing this past week is watching the Olympics!

Lucas loves to just sit on the couch and watch the athletes on tv!

He gets very happy when USA wins another medal!

Lucas has also been working on his #phelpsface.

Another thing to note this week was that our upstairs air-conditioning went out Sunday. It was like 85 degrees in Ella's room, so we all slept in the family room that night.

Thankfully, they came out Monday morning and it was fixed by noon (and it was a pretty inexpensive and easy fix...we were scared we were going to have to buy a whole new unit)!

Also on Monday, someone finally pooped in the potty (she usually just goes in her pull-up at nap time)!! We had bribed her to the max to do this, so she got to pick out a special treat at Target! At first she wanted a $30 Paw Patrol potty chair. Um, no. Then she wanted a Paw Patrol step stool. We finally settled on this cool Paw Patrol (Chase!) bubble machine.

She is obsessed.

So we'll just be here...playing with the Chase bubble machine and watching the Olympics!
