Bumpdate {34 weeks}

Happy Sunday! Sundays are SO much better when you don't have to go to work the next day, aren't they?! (And 10 times better when you don't have to work for the next 2 weeks! Woo hoo!!!!)

Looking forward to getting caught up on some much needed updates, but for now...here's how week 34 of pregnancy is treating me!

Size of baby: A butternut squash
Weight gain: I have officially crossed the 150 pound mark, up to 151-ish… 31 pounds gained total. More weight gain = cuter baby, right?!?
Maternity clothes: Yes and I am about to start stealing my husband’s t-shirts very soon.
Gender: A GIRL!
Movement: Someone really enjoys punching (or kicking?) me in the ribs! Her movements are definitely getting more forceful as she gets bigger and heavier, but I still love feeling all movements—even the painful ones!
Cravings: Still anything with tomatoes. Or chocolate. But not tomatoes and chocolate together…gross.
Symptoms: This would be the week that I blew UP. I’m not sure if it’s due to the warmer weather we’ve been having or what, but my rings are getting reaaaally tight, I have one pair of Tory Burch’s that officially do not fit my feet, and I swear I saw some cankle action going on one night before bed! I really hope I can get a few more weeks with wearing my rings. Cool off, weather! I’d rather freeze than swell! {Side note: we currently have our air-conditioning on! In December! Can you believe it?!}
Workouts: Walked 12 miles on an incline this week. Didn’t have a lot of time to work out more!
Sleep: Hit or miss. I still cannot fall asleep when I want to, but once I am asleep, it’s pretty amazing.
What I miss: Our school was sweet enough to bring us Jason’s Deli this week…and I REALLLLLLYYY wanted a turkey sandwich.
Best moment this week: We had our hospital tour last Sunday, which was….interesting. Definitely had some strange people touring along with us (anyone deliver at Presbyterian and had a similar experience?!). But I am super glad we went, because going to new places (where I don’t know where to park, where to check in, who to speak to, etc.) gives me major anxiety. Now, I feel better prepared for when I go into labor! And it definitely made everything wayyy more real for me!
Looking forward to: Celebrating Christmas with Travis’ and my families! It’s our last Christmas with just the two of us! Crazy!!
