Size of baby: A pineapple
(again?) or a durian fruit…which I have no idea what that is. The ultrasound we had on Wednesday (amazing!!!!) told us she was 4 pounds and 7 ounces!
Weight gain: I’m up 2 more
pounds, bringing my total gain to 29 pounds. Ugh.
Maternity clothes: I have officially
out-grown 2 of my 3 pairs of maternity jeans. Sad day. I refuse to buy more
though, for only 7 weeks! Looks like I’ll be living in my one remaining pair
and leggings…
Gender: A GIRL!
Movement: I was so excited to see which body part was where on
our ultrasound. Her head is down, her back is along my left side, her butt is
almost up to my left rib cage, and then her legs are curved around the top of
my belly. So now when I feel movement, it’s even more exciting because I know
what body part I’m feeling!
Cravings: Still really wanting
a BIG turkey sandwich…I did some googling and discovered Jersey Mike’s is
actually the closest sub place to the hospital, so it looks like that will be my
first meal post-delivery!
Symptoms: Still super dry skin. And some
crampiness/Braxton Hicks. I also figured out that the weird pinching in my butt
that’s been happening over the last few weeks has been sciatic nerve pain.
Other than that, nothing too bad this week!
Workouts: I did 14 miles on
an incline this week!
Sleep: It’s still difficult to get comfortable and fall asleep,
but once I’m asleep, I have been sleeping great!
What I miss: It’s been tough not
having any alcohol during all of these holiday parties…but I do not miss the hangover!
Best moment this week: The ultrasound on Wednesday, duh! It was so great to see our
beautiful girl (and yes, I made them check to make sure she was still a girl) and
what she was doing in there!!! Here she is: (I know I just posted one last Friday--and ultrasound pics are annoying in general--but here is another of her sweet face!)
Again, not the best pic because it's getting pretty crowded in there so its hard to see her well! But it will hold me over for the next 7 weeks till I can see her in real life!!!
Looking
forward to: Christmas Break starting
on Friday!!! I need to get into major nesting mode…over the break, I plan to
wash all of her stuff, hang some decorations, and finish the nursery!
I bought jeans towards the end and was so mad. Then when it was all said and done I wore my leggings every single day. You're getting so close!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that you googled the closest place to get a turkey sandwich! Your bump continues to be super cute!
