I know a Lilly Pulitzer themed birthday party in February is a little ridiculous...but didn't Lilly Pulitzer say, "It's always summer somewhere"?! In all honesty, if Baby Ferg had been a girl, I would have reserved this theme for her June birthday...but it is a boy, so Ella got her Lilly party in February!
Anyway...here's a look at our fun day!
You know I had to have my mimosa bar again! This year, I included regular and alcohol-free champagne!
{I used cut-up shopping bags from the Lilly store to put behind each picture of Ella. Thanks Adelyn for the idea!!}
{I stole this idea off Pinterest...if you cut celery and stamp it in paint, it will look like a rose! I thought it matched the First Impression pattern I used throughout the party perfectly!}
{Party favors}
{I was slightly obsessed with Ella's cake! I got it at Public for less than $30! I couldn't believe the price!!! And it was realllllllly delicious, too!}
{I created this 2 with all pictures of Ella in Lilly outfits! The sad part is there were way more pictures that I didn't have room to fit!}
Ella had a great time! Although, I think she was a little overwhelmed by all of the people there, and all of her friends playing with her toys...
She did love everyone singing "Happy Birthday" to her, and blowing out that candle! She did so well!
And of course she loved the cupcake!
After the party, and a nap, we opened presents! Ella got so many great things...clothes, legos, Prince Wednesday (!!!! She was so excited to see him in that bag!!!) and lots of art stuff (which is so great because she doesn't have that much and girlfriend looooooves to color/draw/create)! Her personal favorite right now though is this cat piano. It is slightly terrifying and absolutely hilarious.

Thanks to all of our family and friends who came to help us celebrate our birthday girl!
Ahhh!!! LOVE it--what a DARLING party! (I also totally love that you used my old Lilly P shopping bags idea, so fun!)
ReplyDeleteShe is just adorable and I super love that monogrammed shirt. We did a Lilly-backed monogrammed onesie for our daughter's Lilly birthday party too--too cute and they can wear it again and again. Happy #2 to Ella!
What a cute party! Loving your blog :)

You did a fabulous job as always! Love everything about the party. I need to get on board. Avery turns two in two months and I don't even have a theme!
ReplyDeleteAmazing tips for hosting kid’s birthday party! Thanks for sharing the link. My daughter’s birthday is coming and was also thinking to host a similar party at her favorite venues in Chicago. Hopefully, everything will happen within our budget.
